MINORCA

"Sports and tranquility destination"

Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023, Menorca becomes the paradisiacal Mediterranean island par excellence, thanks to its scenic, cultural, gastronomic and of course sporting charm. The sporting events on the island are of great interest. Those related to Trail Running stand out. The desire of athletes and professionals to improve has led them to try to break the record by traveling the entire island along the already well-known Camí de Cavalls . Great route ( GR223 ) with a total of 185km that surrounds the entire island passing through each and every one of its more than a thousand coves that Menorca has. On its northern slope, a wilder terrain, battered by the Tramunatana and with more violent colors. The southern slope is characterized by clear, crystalline colors, impeccable sand and more bearable terrain.

The tranquility that exists on the island, especially in the spring and autumn months, is fascinating. The wide variety of activities offered allows you to delve into the culture and experience first-hand the esteem and feeling that Menorcans have towards Menorca, an aspect that has led them to maintain the natural essence of the territory.

The highest point on the island is 360 meters above sea level. Not having mountainous terrain differs with the accumulated slope that can be achieved along the entire island, which ranges from 4,000 meters with a total of 185km. An irregular terrain with very rocky and technical sections right on the border between the sea and the coast. Inland routes, alternatives to the GR223, which pass through leafy seascapes and charming ravines, passing through native trails, are a good option to get to know another side of the island (they are usually private roads or with little signage).
